Army list builder

The list builder is Stimpacked's core feature — build rules-aware army lists with live validation of minerals, gas, slots, and upgrades.

Getting started

  1. Go to /list or tap Roster → New list
  2. Choose a faction (Terran, Zerg, or Protoss)
  3. Start adding units from the picker

Building your list

Adding units

  • Tap a unit to add it to your list
  • Each unit shows its mineral cost and supply
  • The budget bar at the top updates live as you add/remove units

Squad tiers

Most units have 3 tiers (small, medium, large squad). When you add a unit:

  • Choose the squad tier that fits your list
  • Higher tiers cost more minerals but give you more models
  • Supply cost also increases with tier

Upgrades

Some units have optional upgrades:

  • Upgrades appear below the unit in your list
  • Each upgrade has a mineral cost shown next to it
  • Tap to toggle upgrades on/off

Cards

  • Tap the Cards tab to add tactical and faction cards
  • Cards have slot requirements — the builder validates these automatically
  • Faction-specific cards are only available for your chosen faction

Validation

The builder enforces game rules in real time:

  • Mineral budget — total cost shown in the budget bar
  • Card slots — warns if you exceed slot limits
  • Faction restrictions — can't mix faction-specific cards across factions
  • Unique constraints — unique units and cards limited to one per list

Saving & sharing

Without an account

  • Lists are saved in your browser's local storage
  • They persist between sessions but are tied to this device/browser

With an account

  • Lists sync to the cloud automatically
  • Access them from any device
  • Toggle "Make public" to share your list in the public gallery
  • Share the direct link with friends

Managing lists

  • Go to /roster to see all your saved lists
  • Tap a list to edit it
  • Swipe or tap the delete icon to remove a list
  • Public lists appear in /lists/public

Tips

  • Start with your core units, then fill remaining points with upgrades and cards
  • Use the budget bar color to see how close you are to the limit
  • Check the public list gallery for inspiration from other players
