Game companion
The game companion turns your phone into a live match tracker. Use it at the table to track rounds, scores, and reference your roster.
Starting a game
- Go to /play
- Tap New game
- Select your army list (or create one on the fly)
- Enter your opponent's name and faction
- Tap Start
During the game
Score tracking
- Each round has score fields for you and your opponent
- Tap the score to increment, or type a custom value
- The running total updates automatically
Roster reference
- Swipe to the Roster tab to see your full army list
- View unit stats, abilities, and weapons without leaving the game
- Keyword popovers work here too — tap any keyword for the rules
Round management
- Tap Next round when you finish a round
- The current round is highlighted
- Review previous rounds by scrolling back
Live sync
If your opponent also uses Stimpacked:
- Send them a game invite from the game setup screen
- They accept the invite from their notification banner
- Both players see the same game session in real time
- Score updates sync instantly via Supabase Realtime
Finishing a game
- Tap End game after the final round
- Review the score summary
- Select the outcome (win/loss/draw)
- Optionally pick an MVP unit
- Add notes if you want
- The result is saved to your match history
Match history
All completed games appear in your profile under Match history. Each entry shows:
- Opponent name and faction
- Final scores
- Outcome
- Date played
This data feeds into the leaderboard and faction matchup stats over time.
Tips
- Add the app to your home screen for quick access at the table
- The companion works offline — scores sync when you're back online
- Use the roster tab instead of flipping through physical cards
- Challenge friends directly from their profile or the friends list
